UTSAV Testimonial - Jayavidya Jayakanthan

I was introduced to the utsav classes by Dr.Ramani Sivakumar. I am very thankful to her and Amba for giving me such a wonderful experience. these classes and the information improved my knowledge since we were shared valuable information which was collected by the instructor by extensive research and study. The presentation of each of the classes - Exercise, Labour and Nurture is unique and carefully organized with huge values added to it. I recommend future mothers/spouse/support partners to attend all of them to get benefited.

All the sessions were open to discussion and you feel more comfortable with it.
Exercise Class - It had a crisp introduction about the food habits donts & dos. It was very useful to me since I had gestational diabetics. I might have avoided diabetics had I came here before. These food habits are very important and it is one of the decision making component of child birth. So try to follow Amba's triangle chart to cut it short in one word.
The exercises are energy boosting. Personally being an IT professional I used to sit long hours in week/weekend. Other holidays I used to shop for baby shower/pregnancy shopping/house hold works. I was busy till now - 38th week. But I did not get back pain or any pregnancy tiredness and I am 100% sure its because of these exercises. I could see difference when I skipped them for 3 days.

Labour Class - It gave a good insight into the natural labor process and it made me wear my fear out. i became more positive. My husband who wanted me to have C-section due to his idea of natural labor was very tedious changed his mind and is praying for a natural labour for me. This class thought me how god made natural process are only for our good and not to get scared about.

Nurture class - It gave me more confident of how to take care of baby. Now I am mentally prepared to handle baby on my own - bathing, massaging, feeding, dressing and taking care of all the signs of baby. The class was very informative.
